Red Sand Project – Help Us Raise Awareness

Join us on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM outside the Bradford County Courthouse in Towanda for a local Red Sand Project event, hosted by The Children’s House Child Advocacy Center (CHCAC) and the Abuse and Rape Crisis Center (ARCC) in honor of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

Event Highlights:

  • Proclamation by county officials

  • Remarks by local service providers

  • Free red sand kits for sidewalk installations

  • Social media campaign:

Local organizations are invited to take part by displaying red sand at their locations.

  • Register your organization’s participation

  • Select where you’d like to pick up your red sand:

    • At the July 30 event at the courthouse

    • Or from The Children’s House during regular business hours
